HUMANLY: LEFT BEHIND CAMPAIGN
Humanly was a design showcase hosted by our Information Design class with the goal of informing the public of and attempting to reach a solution to local issues. With the UN 17 Global Goals in mind (you can learn more about them here) we each set off individually or in pairs to discover, research, and come up with a potential solution to the problems we found.
For this project, I collaborated with my classmate Brianna Jackson. Our research led us to choosing to look at goal #15 - Life on Land, with our focus on the impact of improperly abandoned oil wells in Alberta's natural areas. This led to our Left Behind campaign, a mock social media/art installation with the goal of starting a conversation about this issue that few know exists.
